Circular Economy
The increasing aggravation of ecological conditions worldwide is pushing more and more for the development of new, green technologies and concepts. In the Digitized Circular Economy (DCE) real-world laboratory, we want to work with our partners to research and establish innovations and models in the field of sustainable, digital technologies. Our rethought model of the circular economy forms the foundation of our research. The various sub-areas of the circular model form the building blocks of the DCE real-world laboratory.
TU Clausthal's guiding theme in research, teaching and transfer is the circular economy. With our research within the real-world laboratory, we want to help shape the path to a climate-neutral, sustainable future. In the circular economy, in contrast to the linear economy, resources are reused and reprocessed in various forms. The circular economy therefore forms the basis for the ecological and sustainable use of resources and products and thus also for the responsible society of tomorrow.
