Reallabore
The Center for Digital Technologies is a research center of Clausthal University of Technology in cooperation with Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. Here, professors from both universities work together with industry to shape the digital transformation of sustainable industrial processes. Our research focuses on the six application areas of Autonomous Systems, Circular Economy & Environmental Technology, Digital Transformation, Energy, Industry 4.0 and Mobility. And it is precisely these areas that form the umbrella organization of our four real-world laboratories: Circular Economy, Intelligent Agriculture and Water Management, Sustainable Production and Autonomous and Sustainable Mobility.
Circular Economy
Together with our partners, we want to research and establish innovations and models in the field of sustainable, digital technologies.
Land and Water Management
We research and test solutions for a resilient and sustainable food supply in the context of climate change, environmental pollution and resource scarcity.
Autonomous Sustainable Mobility
We are pursuing the goal of making mobility more sustainable and efficient by researching, developing and testing innovative technologies and concepts for autonomous driving and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
Sustainable Production
We want to drive the transformation of existing production systems towards more sustainable and digital design and manufacturing methods in Industry 4.0.
